The steel staircase has been sculptured from our PerfTEC range, which has been featured on Channel 4’s latest series of Grand Designs (S17, E2). The staircase was fabricated from specially perforated and laser cut mild steel, upholding its tensile strength. The treads are fixed to the wall without stringers to create a floating aesthetic. Its perforated design allows light to flow freely through the area to form interesting shadows on the surrounding walls. When standing from afar, you’re able to see straight through the staircase and this adds an element of openness to the entire space.
