Whilst many people associate our mesh with large expanded or corrugated metal panels, some may not realise that we also supply the most intricately fine meshes from the woven range, which can create a totally different aesthetic.
When we first introduced these types of meshes to the market we quickly realised that they were impossible to fix to a frame due to their delicacy. At this point we developed our Vitramesh range.
Vitramesh is a process of laminating mesh in between two panels of glass, which makes a stunning feature for balustrades, wall cladding, partitions and splashbacks.
But, its versatility is not just limited to interior applications. We’re starting to see more and more projects incorporating Vitramesh into the external cladding of a building.
It offers the structural and safety qualities that our clients require with the finer mesh. Plus, it makes cleaning and maintenance a whole lot easier.
Although for us, one of the most uniquely transcendent qualities of Vitramesh is its ability to preserve the beauty of a raw metal. Especially in external applications, when the mesh is vulnerable to weathering.
The designer/architect can capture the natural finish of metals such as coppers, bronzes, brass, stainless steel, without the worry of oxidisation.
There are also the options to specify different colour or mirror back effects on the glass to bring a new dimension to the design.
